Beverley Grammar School is a vibrant, 11–18 boys’ comprehensive school with a Joint Sixth
form with the neighbouring girls’ school. The school believes that education is a partnership

We are looking to recruit a Learning Support Assistant for students with HI needs. We are
looking for a committed team worker, who is able to establish positive working relationships
with students and adults. The person appointed will be able to show sensitivity towards
students’ problems and use initiative when required.
You will have:
- A good standard of general education, to include Maths and English A* -C
- The ability to relate well to young people
- A commitment to supporting the school policies and be prepared to take part in relevant training.
Experience within a secondary school is desirable.

increased student attainment and achievement, and social and emotional development for all our students.
We are seeking to recruit a Pastoral/Year Leader to be responsible for the management and pastoral
support of a designated cohort of students.
Main duties:
- Support Pastoral Lead in developing and devising learning and behaviour programmes.
- Support identified groups within cohort to achieve academic potential.
- To accept additional area of responsibility to support the wider working of student support.
- Ensure effective delivery and continual improvement of Student Support function.
- Provide general care and welfare to students.
- Maintain and monitor student records, in accordance with GDPR regulations.
