Examinations

The Examinations Office handles entries, examinations and results for students in Years 10 and 11, dealing with GCSE, VCert and Entry Level Certificate qualifications. For Year 12 and 13 students at Beverley Grammar School and at Beverley High School, examination entries and results are dealt with by this Exams Office, and the majority of the examinations themselves take place on this site.

We have two examination Centres:

Beverley Grammar School (Centre number 44107), for qualifications in Key Stages 3 and 4

Beverley Joint Sixth (Centre number 44108), which handles external assessment for students in our Joint Sixth Form

We use the examinations and assessments of five of the national Awarding Bodies (Examination Boards). Each one has an extensive website, with information such as:

• Subject specifications (details about the content of each course)
• Specimen and past years’ exam papers
• Timetables
• Information for students and parents about the examination system
• Advice for students about preparation and revision for exams

Private candidates 

We are not an approved centre for private candidates – a learner not enrolled as a student here.
