School careers programme
At BGS we run an extensive careers programme, which is designed to help our students understand the world of work and aspire to aim high.
Please see the relevant page in the student section if you want to know more.
Employability skills
BGS has worked with a number of other East Riding Schools and Colleges to develop the East Riding Collaborative Employability Skills Passport.
This passport provides a framework to enable us to support the students to develop and demonstrate the seven key areas of employability skills, as defined by the CBI.
Students are working towards evidencing how they have achieved the employability skills in the passport to achieve a final award that is recognised and validated by the Humber Local Enterprise Partnership (LEP)
Go to the Humber LEP site to find out more.
