Careers Guidance

Mrs Darvell is the Careers Adviser in school, working Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays offering impartial careers information advice and guidance to students.  Her office is situated near the student support area.

All students in Year 11 will be invited to a one to one careers guidance interview to discuss their future plans and ideas.  This will include opportunities to discuss career aims and routes available after GCSEs.  Support is available for students when applying for college, apprenticeships or employment including completing application forms and C.V.s

Careers guidance interviews can also be offered to students in Year 9 and 10, especially when making GCSE option choices and work experience. Students from any year are welcome to speak to Mrs Darvell about careers information, advice and guidance at break times or lunch times.

Parents/Carers can contact Mrs Darvell by phone on 01482 881531 or email at w.darvell@beverleygrammar.co.uk
