I want to do my DofE, now what?
If you've decided to undertake a DofE Award, you should inform Mr. Bibbington of your interest, read the application letter at the bottom of this page and then complete an application using the form below.
The application window typically opens in May/June each year and runs until September. Students wishing to undertake Gold should speak with Mr. Bibbington before applying as we conduct Gold through our joint Sixth Form with Beverley High School.

How do I apply?
To apply for the DofE you should complete the online registration form found below. You will also be required to pay a non-refundable registration fee. This covers the administrative cost of delivering the award in school. Fees for this year's award are;

Bronze: £160

Silver: £215
A breakdown of these costs can be provided on request. Please be aware that there are often additional costs associated with completing a DofE award including purchasing clothing and equipment for the expedition as well as costs associated with the volunteering, physical, and skill sections of the award
There is financial assistance available to support pupils, that meet specific criteria, for whom these additional expenses might prohibit them from enrolling on the DofE award.
